Peace of mind from sharing your wishes with your next of kin now, so at the time of death they know “what you wanted” and have your personal information that is required for a death certificate and are spared difficult and often costly decisions at a time of grief. Your wishes are put into a Survivor Instructions and Mortuary Information form. Copies of this form are kept by you, given to your next of kin and one copy is sent to FCA-KC for its records. If you or your representative(s) lose the document, a copy can be obtained by contacting FCA-KC.

No money is paid in advance: we advise pre-planning but not pre-paying. The final price of your funeral arrangements will be based on the discounted price plus any additional mortuary or cemetery services your next of kin contracts for at time of death.

Transfer of membership for a nominal fee, if you move out of Kern County to one of the 100-plus FCA affiliates across the U.S. in 44 states.
If you move, it will be your responsibility to notify FCA-KC of your new address. If you move out of Kern County, FCA-KC has reciprocal arrangements with over 100 affiliates across the United States and Canada. Transfers can be easily arranged. Funeral costs and regulations vary from state to state. The affiliate can provide information about mortuary services in your new locale, and we will assist in the transfer of your membership.
